I remember Barb from when my parents owned Oak Bay Resort in Buckhorn. I was/am friends with Anne & knew Barb from then also. She was kind, caring, had a wonderful sense of humour and could tell she truly loved her family. I am so sorry for your loss and we send our deepest condolences to everyone.

Ron, Kayla and Veronica my sincerest sympathy for the loss of Barbie. A great wife, mother,sister and good friend we became friends 32yrs ago on opening season for camping. Many nights by the fire and days by the water. So many laughs til we cried on the girls weekends at our house. I'll miss you buddy but heaven needed an angel and Gizzy needed his mom. R.I.P my friend

My deepest sympathy to Ron and Alex and their Families. I only met Barb briefly but she touched my heart immensely. She is a kind hearted , considerate lady and i will always remember her in that way. I am glad to have known her.

Sincere condolences to Barbara Jean's family and especially her parents Ron and Karen Stevens who supported her through all her bouts of cancer. Remember her well when she worked alongside her parents at the Lighting Centre on Wyandotte and later on the vacuum stores both on Laclie Street. She was always a delight to talk to. RIP Barbara Jean. You are in God's Loving Hands.
