Obituary of Lorraine Boynton

BOYNTON, Lorraine Dorine Went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 11th, 2023. Lorraine was surrounded by her three daughters and slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus her Lord. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Boynton (2009) and William Leslie Smith (1986). Loving mother of Sharon (Bill) Watkins of Kilworth, Brenda (Rick) Goodnough of Minesing, Marleen (Joseph) Hill of Kilworthy. Remembered with loving gratitude by her grandchildren Christopher (1977), Janet (Ryan) Craig, David (Erin) Watkins, Jonathan (Alyssa) Hill, Joshua (Carlee) Hill and Sarah Hill (Jamie Warner). Loved by her great-grandchildren Gage and Emmett Watkins, Grayson and Easten Craig, Ryder, Jordyn and Denver Hill, Madison and Mason Hill and Benjamin Warner. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Audrey Pugsley (2015) and Loretta, brother William (Billy 1933), sister-in-law Verna Florence Gaylord (Smith 1985) and Tony Gaylord (2000). Nieces and nephews Valerie Gribbin (Gaylord), Steven Gaylord, Tina West (Gaylord), Mike Gaylord (Barbara), Brian Pugsley, Ian Pugsley, Craig Pugsley (2010). Loved by Bonnie Canning (Craig), Ted Boynton (Lynne) and their families. Lorraine will be missed by her many friends. She belonged to the Lioness of Washago, the Women’s Institute of Washago, United Church Women’s Institute, Washago Seniors, Quilting Club and a member of the Forest Home United Church. A celebration of Life will take place at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E., Orillia on Saturday June 24th, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. With Visitation an hour prior.
