Obituary of Ed Armitage

Armitage, George Edward ‘Ed’ Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday July 18th, 2023, at the age of 82. Ed was born in Orillia and predeceased by his parents Levi and Fern Armitage. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Boucher). Loving father of Janet Doughty (James), and Joy Ricci (Reginald), and the late Jesse Armitage. Proud grandfather of Jesse, Jonathan, Joshua (Jasmine), Janessa, Jayden, Joy-Lynn, Jalyssa, Jordan, Angelo (predeceased), Alvino, and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Laurene Jones (late Ken). Ed will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
