Obituary of Joan Merkley

Merkley: Joan Ruth Peacefully, at her home in Orillia on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 in her 63rd year. Joan Merkley of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Gordon Merkely. Much loved mother of Tina Merkley, Lisa Merkley and Mandy McLeod, all of Orillia. Loving grandmother of Warren Beaule, Paige Beaule, Logan McLeod and Holly McLeod. Dear sister of Gwen DeGrandpre (Mike), Diane Martin (Bill), Susie VanNess (Ron), Gay McKillop (Rick), Shirley Leavoy (Barry) and Terry Mackie (Jim), all of Orillia. Remembered by father-in-law Gordon Merkley of Orillia. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Joan's Life will be held at a future date, to be announced.
