Obituary of Patricia Anne Totten
Patricia (Peeny) A. Totten
On September 28th as the beautiful full moon was rising outside her bedroom window, Peeny passed away peacefully, at home, with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Fred Lloyd. Cherished daughter of the late Norman and Beatrice Buchan of Orillia. Patricia had 2 sisters, Mary and Sandy, both predeceased. Dear mother to Karen (predeceased), Michael, David (predeceased), and Christina, and stepmother to Shane and Dale Lloyd. Proud Grama to Justin, Jennifer, Hailie, Charlie, Josh (predeceased), Kayla, Cody, Mackenzie, and Ben. Peeny was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Keegan, Thayson, Cole, Brynlee, Rowan, Liam, Dustin and Angela. Peeny also had her dog family who she cherished dearly. There was her childhood dog Kelly, Sheba, Kelly II, Sam, Ben, Whisky, and Kelly III. Sadly in February of this year Peeny was heartbroken when her best friend ‘Whisky’ passed away. The loss of her beloved dog was too much for her weak heart to take and she never recovered.
Peeny was a kind person, who liked to live simply, with friends and family close by to gather with. Peeny enjoyed feeding the birds, country music, and TV bingo. She was a great cook and excellent pie maker. She recently had her 80th birthday and she enjoyed having a big party with her family all around to celebrate the milestone.
Peeny will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place and an internment of her ashes will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Saturday October 7 2023.
