Obituary of George Arthur Charles Montroy

Montroy, George Arthur Charles Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 17th, 2023, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Bonnie Montroy (nee Piper) for 52 years. Loving father of Peter Montroy (Melanie), and the late Scott Montroy. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Ariel, Caitlin, Justin-predeceased, Emily, and great grandfather of Sam and Lilly. Dear brother of Tom (late Angie), Robert (Gwen), Joan Blakey (late Paul), and Ann Montry. Predeceased by brothers Wayne, Douglas, and Michael. George will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 6 Kitchener Street on Saturday November 11th 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street Orillia (705) 327 0221.
