Obituary of Shirley Lorraine Taggart

Taggart , Shirley Lorraine ( nee Morrow) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Mariposa House Hospice on Friday December 22nd , 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Alec Taggart for 64 years. Loving mother of Wayne Taggart and April Taggart. Proud grandmother of Aimee and Kyle. Dear sister of Midge Donelly, Audrey Michaud, the late Leona Berkeley, and the late John Morrow. Shirley will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street. East Orillia on Friday January 5th , 2024 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception. The family would like to offer a very sincere thank you to all the staff at Mariposa House Hospice for their compassion and for their excellent care.
