Obituary of Anne Lamont

Lamont, (Patricia) Anne (nee Speiran) Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 31st, 2024, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband of more than 63 years, Blakely (Don) Lamont (2019). Cherished Mom of Robert (Pamela), Ian (Linda) and Mary-Anne Herrema (Ron). Dear Grandma of Megan (David Carter), Sean Lamont (Sarah DeGeorge), Katie (Kevin Schuette), Josiah Lamont, Jeannette Herrema (Brandon Ehinger), and Cameron Herrema. Anne was also Great Grandma (“GG”) to Gabriella Carter, Sadie Ehinger, and Elias Lamont, with two new great-grandchildren expected this year. Anne is predeceased by her brother Paul H. Speiran (2016), who is survived by his wife Jean. Anne’s presence will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A service of gratitude for Anne’s life will be held at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, at 12:00 with visitation for one hour prior and reception to follow. Private family interment at St. Andrew’s-St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
