Obituary of Bill Shaw

Shaw, William Duncan Passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday March 23rd, 2024, at the age of 87. Born in Orillia and predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Myrtle Shaw. Bill will be missed by all who knew him including his children and their families, Danny, Kathy, Brenda, Penny, and sister Dorothy Speerin (Ken Orr); predeceased by his siblings Mildred Fraser (Hugh), Marjorie Dubeau, Kenneth Fraser, Stephen Fraser, Myrtle Deschamps (Bud), Audrey (Albert Pye), Vernas (Clarence Hornsby), Eunice (Vern Roach) Malcolm Shaw, Ron Shaw (Betty-survived), and Shirley. A special thank you in appreciation to all the staff at Leacock Care Centre for their compassionate care. In keeping with Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
