Obituary of George Anisley Sheppard

Sheppard, George Anisley Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday April 29th, 2024, at the age of 79. George was born in Orillia and predeceased by his parents George and Christine Sheppard. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Cleaveley) for 53 years. Loving father of Teresa Robinson and her husband Terry. Dear brother of Almer (Evelyn), Clarence (Hazel), Howard (Jackie), Roy (Mary), Jean (George), and Marie (Murray) all predeceased. Dear son in law of the late Mildred and Gordon Cleaveley. George will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Thursday May 2nd, from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday May 3rd, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
