Lawrence Lloyd Cook

January 8, 1942 - April 25, 2024

It is with heavy hearts, we share the passing of Lawrence Cook on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the age of 82.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Larry (Shelly), Cindy, and April, along with his sisters Louise and Jeannie (Lloyd), and brothers Curtis (Shirley) and Wade (Jeanne).

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents Garner and Hazel, his siblings Kenneth, Gladys, and Frederick, his beloved wife Marcelline, and his son Gregory Sr.

His legacy reaches far and wide, touching the hearts of his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To Jesse (Amanda), Amanda (Patrick), Nathan, Gregory Jr., Mitchell (Jocelyn), Stefanie (Mitchell), Alexander, Kyla, Kaidence, Daniel, Jason, Jason, Lyla, and Parker, he was their beloved Papa who illuminated their lives with love and happiness.

In addition to his immediate family, Lawrence will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was a hard worker with a passion for sports, playing cards, bird-feeding, and all things string-related, His gentle soul, kind heart, and infectious humour endeared him to all who knew him. His presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went, and his absence will be felt by those who loved him.

In honouring Lawrence's life, a private memorial will be held by the family. Though he may be physically gone, his spirit and the memories he created will live on forever in our hearts.
