My sincere condolences to the Jenkin's Family. I was fortunate to have known Jackie as a summer staff and cottager for many years at Geneva Park. I remember her helping my late Mom and being very kind to me and others.

My heartfelt condolences to Leon and family on your loss.
I was a colleague of Jackie at the YMCA for over 40 years and was always impressed with her kindness, generosity and strong work ethic. Jackie was the heart and soul of Geneva Park. In retirement, Jackie was in charge of membership for YMCA Canada alumni. She personally connected with hundreds of YMCA alumni members over the years and many of the members remember her kind words of encouragement during difficult times. If you wanted to get something done well, you ask Jackie. She was a huge presence in the lives of those who knew her.
May your warm memories of good times spent with Jackie bring you comfort during this most difficult time. She will be sorely missed.

Leon, Jeramie and family. My heart is breaking over your loss. Jackie and I shared a friendship for over 20 years and I have her to thank for bringing me into the Geneva Park family, making me feel so welcome. We laughed together, cried together, shared family stories and of course a cocktail now and again. Memories of our friendship will last forever and I will miss her and our chats together.

I extend my sincerest condolences to Mike and Jackie's extended family. I was privileged to get to know Jackie as a staff colleague over years through meetings, training events and conferences at Geneva. This continued into our retirement for the past 10 years on the Executive of the Canadian YMCA Alumni.
I loved Jackie's passion balanced with practicality--not too much philosophy--just a let's get it done approach. She did a superb job of maintaining the Canadian Y Alumni membership for the past decade. It was often challenging, as working with Y retirees can, at times be worse than herding cats...through it all she never lost her energy or smile.
Jackie we miss you. You leave a wonderful legacy through all of the people you touched and served over your career. Rest in peace, my friend.

Jackie was a bright light at the YMCA Geneva Park front desk. She made you feel welcome - like "coming home". I am so grateful to have known Jackie and to have worked with her for so many years during my time at the YMCA. She had a deep commitment to the Y, Geneva Park, and everyone who stepped onto the grounds. Truly a dedicated YMCA leader.
I am so sorry for your loss and know that she spoke of her family members' many life achievements to those of us at the Y. She was very proud of all of you.

So sorry we have lost a beautiful light from our lives Jackie and I became fast friends many years ago at a YMCA conference and we continued our travels to many Y events over the years and visiting in our personal lives. Leon Geoff and I send our condolences she was one special lady ❤️
