Obituary of Diane Maureen Black

Black, Diane Maureen Feb 26th, 1935 – June 9th, 2024 Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Ross Black. Loving mother of Lynn Rowe (Michael). Rick Black (Glenda), and Colleen Keech (Dave Gould). Proud grandmother of 8, grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Harry and Pat Short. Remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Champlain Manor and its nursing staff for all their attention and care, as well as Dr. Harmathy. Also thank you to Dr. Sochaniwskyj for his care over the years. At mom’s request there will be no funeral services. She will be laid to rest with her husband Ken at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
