Obituary of Bill Winchester

Winchester, William Arthur “Bill” Passed away peacefully at his home in Brechin on Friday August 2nd 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Gerry Winchester ( nee Lahay). Loving father of Vern (Amanda), Dale (Christine), and Eddie (Tracy). Cherished grandfather of Tom, Mike, Kate-Lynn, Chris, Jesse, Ashley, Ryan, Gary, Jamie, Brandon; great grandfather of Carson, Savanah, Tanner, Sophia, Eleanor, Monroe and Toby. Dear brother of 6 siblings – all predeceased. Bill will be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Brechin Legion, 2146 Concession Rd 4 in Brechin on Sunday August 11th , 2024 from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Brechin-Mara Branch 488 through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
