Nadine, Dan and Becca... We are heart broken. The world will definitely miss moms spirit for life... her zest and fire. Spunky, full of love we were blessed to have known such a remarkable lady. We did not consider her a friend.... She was family by choice. Over the years our families shared struggles, joys and many memories. Connor and Dalton said the one thing they loved the most was Marie's sense of humour... she had them in stitches and always made them feel like a part of the family. Although we weren't physically there over the past few years, miles separate us.... You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Celebrate her spirit.... Remember the good times and have one last Bon fire and Party in moms memory. There is now one more angel in heaven watching over us. Love always the Compton Family. Xoxox

Nadine, Mike and family, I was so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing, she was an awesome lady with a great sense of humor, my last memory of her was sitting at the table in the house in Orillia many years ago, and having her challenge me on my knowledge of country music, she kept saying "you couldn't possibly know that song- its so old!" I also remember that one of her favorites back then was "Blue eyes cryin in the rain" you've had so much loss in your family, and I know how incredibly difficult this must be for you all, my heart goes out to you, I remember the poem you gave me Nadine when my brother died (the same one you read at Vics funeral) and I wish I could be there to give it to you now, "Do not stand at my grave and weep" With much love Terry

Our deepest sympathy to our cousins and extended family of Aunt Marie. She was a very special person and enriched the lives of all who knew her.I love the story of how she called my Dad her "turkey" because she couldn't pronounce Percy as a small child and continued to call him that during her life! RIP Aunt Marie.
