Clara and family, may it help to know that there are family members living a fair distance from you who are thinking of you at this sad time. Rest in peace Dennis. Loving thoughts and prayers from one of your much 'younger' Quenneville cousins, MaryBeth and Bob Edgar.

Dennis was a bundle of knowledge. He was an avid reader and enjoyed learning and informing himself about everything. His passion for locomotives and tractors was contagious.
As a young couple starting out Gail and I lived in Marathon (1976) Dennis and Clara came to visit. One day during their stay I watched a great big RV towing a Jeep behind and told Dennis; wow look at that, I will never be able to afford that, not even the Jeep they are towing. Dennis turned to me and told me what my father should have taught me… ‘’ with time Roch, you will. You’ll be able to afford all of those things if you keep working (the way you are now) you will. I will always remember his fatherly advice. Another thing Dennis taught me was, while working on one of many, many project we worked on together is: ‘’ before you start working on anything YOU NEED A PLAN’’ That also stuck with me.
I’m very sad to see you go Dennis but also very happy that your suffering is over
Bon voyage
Roch

I knew this day would come when it was time to say goodbye. You weren’t well and it was hard for you to continue living in this world without the pain that came with it. I’ve been in your life for 50 years and you in mine. I hold an abundance of memories in my heart of you Dennis, some are funny, some are of your stories you shared from back home as a young boy growing up and some are on more serious subjects of life itself and family. I will always have a special place for you in my heart. May the angels care for you where you are and may you watch over the ones you’ve left behind.
All my love xo

Kerry and I send our condolences to the family. Dennis was a very personable guy, but I knew he hated to see me walking through the door when I needed a new car. None the less he sold me a few cars and was always great to work with bantering back and forth with us.

Our heart felt condolences go out to our neighbour and friend Clara, and all the extended families of Dennis and Clara. Dennis always greeted us with a smile and some humour. He was a warm and loving man with whom we enjoyed many a long conversation. We will always keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Roland and Lorraine Thomas
