Obituary of Mike Manley

Manley, Michael Frank Mike passed away at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on December 3 2024 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Joan Manley (nee Woods) for approx. 45 years. Dear brother of John Manley (Heather), Rosemary Nadon (John), Edward Manley -predeceased, Lynn Marie Wilkinson (Barry), Timothy Manley (Audra), and Lorilee Manley. Loving son of the late Mitch Sergovitch and the late Noreen Sergovitch. Mike had many nieces and nephews, close friends and family and will be dearly missed. His garage was always open to having a beer or a whiskey over the many years in the Lake Simcoe area; Hawkestone, Pefferlaw, Keswick. Mike was into fixing everyone’s small engines and loved golfing, fishing and skidooing. He also worked as a maintenance manager at the Grandview Resort at Sparrow Lake, he fixed water distillers and repaired many motors. His nickname was Meadow, who loved telling stories over a beer and a smoke and was famous for giving other people a nickname. A celebration of life for Mike’s will be held at the Oro-Medonte Arena and Banquet Hall, 71 Line 4 North, Oro-Medonte L0L 2L0 on Saturday January 11th, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. refreshments will be served.
