I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Linda. I seldom look at obituaries but I was speaking with Anne on New Year's Eve and she mentioned Ernie's passing to me. After 33 years, losing Ernie is like losing a part of yourself and I know how that feels. I'm going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and will call you in the very near future. Take care for now.

hello, my name is Warren Walker son of John James Walker, who was a good friend of Ernie’s when I met Ernie, I was quite young grade 7 we lived in Garibaldi by Whistler in the late 70s and he was an equipment operator, and a mechanic was a very smart man and left an impression on me that he was a very good man. They lived up the laneway from us in Garibaldi and our parents and their parents were good friends. this is when times were much more simple. We heated our homes with wood. We did have electricity and running water, water that we got from a creek behind our house that was glacier fed.I miss those days when times were so simple. there was no cell phones. There was no computers. There was no Internet there was only communicating by a landline phone or let’s get together and have a great dinner laugh and Love and live Ernie will be greatly missed by his family. My condolences to the whole family as I do not know everyone, but I didn’t know Larry, Ernie son, April ernie’s daughter and Bonnie ernie’s daughter. and at that time, Carole was his wife.
at that time there was John Senior Walker, John Junior Walker, Gayle Walker and Tracy Walker and my mom Jennie Walker when they lived up the lane from us, I remember Ernie had a Bachoe and he would clear the snow so we had passable driveways and parking spots in the winter time thank you, Ernie for your memories
Warren James Walker.
