We are saddened by the death of Norm. He was a good man. I worked with him for a few years on the Atherley Community Board and he left a lasting impression on me. His kindness in everything we did was stellar. My condolences to Irene and family

My deepest condolences to all of Norms children, my memories of your dad go back a long way. I remember him trying to catch some young cattle in a small stable across from us when I was maybe 13!! We ended up keeping some in our barn for a few days and there was one that wouldn't cooperate, believe he ended up on the dinner table that winter as I remember Norm being a pretty good shot!!
I Still remember how we would skip homework to go piay hockey with Marty and Murray where Norm had strung lights over the pond for our nightly exercise!@
He was always very cordial and friendly if I saw him while working or out in public at a function and always had time to speak. I'm hoping I could make the service but don't believe my health will allow at this time ( chronic fatigue) so I send my thoughts and prayers to y'all and the things I remember of your whole family. Seeing Marty at a restaurant a few years back Murray at his drive way when we had a power interruption and had to close his garage door when the power was back in service! Anne at The CIBC bank and Ellen from time to time. I've always thought a lot of your family and know that Norms influence has been well distributed through out all of you!! Hopefully I'll see you at another time and keep you in my mind and prayers. God bless y'all!!
