Christine was such a sweetheart. She had the most warm hugs and always wore a smile. We enjoyed powerful prayer times together and tons of laughter. We called each other "soul sisters" because we shared such a deep bond of love. I loved our tea times when we'd just talk and talk and talk.
When I moved away from Orillia we were separated by distance but kept up our visits and our regular phone conversations. But sadly, as the years stretched on, we spoke less and less. Life got busy for both of us and we hadn't seen each other for over a year.
My last words to Christine were to wish her a happy birthday and say that hopefully we could get together in 2014. She thanked me for the best wishes and responded that she looked forward to getting together once again.
I pray that I will get that visit with her in heaven.
