Obituary of Joan Grant

Grant, Joan Patricia Elaine Peacefully passed away at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in her 71st year on July 1, 2014 with her daughter's Tarry (Jon Beninger) and Kristen (Jason Mitruk) Macdonald by her side. Predeceased by Douglas Macdonald. Loving daughter of Albert & Gertrude Grant (predeceased). Caring sister to Warren & Patricia Grant (predeceased). Dear aunt to Danny, David (Norean) and Denise (Hugh). Special thank you to Dr. Kapeluto, Amanda, Sonya and Eileen for your care and compassion. This strong and courageous woman leaves behind family and many friends whom Tarry & Kristen wish to invite to help celebrate her life in the autumn, Joan's favourite time of year, on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E., Orillia.
