We first met both you and your mother 10 years ago when we purchased our cottage in Bobcaygeon. We always enjoyed seeing Brenda's smiling face while visiting her @ The Wild Palm, catching up each summer and hearing about her winter Mexican adventures. She really seemed to know how to live life. She always spoke of you and it was nice seeing you this past season running the business as your mother would. We were so saddened to hear of her passing and send our most sincere condolences. She will surely be missed.

Dear Laura, We are so saddened to hear about Brenda's passing. As you say, she is in a better place right now. We will remember her as the beautiful, fun lady who would light up the room when she walked through the door. She was a perceptive, intelligent and wise business person and I'm sure she provided you with the knowledge to carry on and make her proud. We will always remember the last visit we had with you both at our cottage in the fall. She tried so hard to be her old self and you were right by her side helping any way you could. You are an inspiration to us Laura and we want to be there for you also. I know we are far away right now but we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Please include us in your Celebration of Life memorial.

Dear Laura: We are so sad to learn of your beautiful Mom's passing. She was a lovely, lovely person. The world has lost a very bright light. Your Mom and I exercised together for many years. We laughed a lot on many topics. She was so much fun to be with. Paul helped your Mom with your Pigeon Lake home and the renovations on the upper level of the ice cream shop. He enjoyed working with her. Brenda was taken from you way too soon. She is with your Dad, the love of her life. They will be the angels on your shoulders. Love lives on in the memories. Though we saw each other so seldom the last 8 years, I will NEVER forget Brenda and one ski trip a gang of us shared in Banff. It was instant family. After getting to know her then, I felt I could call her any time and we would be instantly connected. Still do think that way. I always thought I'd see her again so I look at my pictures and laugh and cry.

Laura I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed. I can remember so many times spent with you and your mom when we were growing up, without ever trying she always made me feel special. She was a good mother to you and was always proud to call you her daughter. She was a role model to many in the community, but what stood out the most about Brenda was the fact that she was a good person. She passed on her best qualities to you Laura, and I hope all of the special memories you made together will help you stay strong and keep you smiling. Ill be thinking of you Laura, you are not alone and you are loved. Im sure your mom and dad are both watching over you and smiling because you were part of their lives. Sincerely, Deanna
