After the navy, Bob joined Toronto Hydro where he retired as a lineman after 34 years. He devoted countless hours to his community, as a member of Unity Lodge, Fairbank and St Andrew's Presbyterian Churches, Washago Seniors and was Past President and then Executive Secretary (for 25 years) of Fairbank Legion Br. 75. Bob was a friend to all, with a disarming smile, always a kind word and a quick wit. In keeping with his wishes no service will be held.
