Obituary of Shelagh Powell

Powell: Shelagh Peacefully at the Birchmere Retirement Residence Orillia on Wednesday November 26th, 2014 in her 76th year. Shelagh Powell (nee Denne) of Orillia, formerly of Washago, beloved wife of the late George Edward Powell. Loving mother of Laurel (Ken Clark) of Etobicoke, Evan Powell (Barb) of Severn Township, Glenn Powell of Toronto and Gordon Powell (Gloria) of Kingston. Dear grandmother of Autumn, Ashley, Mariah, Jesse, Christopher and Larrissia. Daughter of the late Charles Henry and Florence May Denne. Dear sister of the late Donna Brooks (Lee-predeceased). A celebration of Shelagh's life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Saturday January 10th, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
