Thompson: Edward James (Jim) At his home Oro Medonte on Saturday February 14th 2015 in his 88th year. Jim Thompson, beloved husband of Flora Thompson (nee Devillez). Dear father of Irene Patience and Carol Thompson and their families. Stepfather of Michael Hannam (Rosemary), Martha (Michael Maciuk), Monica (Ellery Ball) and Sara Ripley (Mark Hayden) and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Morley, Morris, Jack, Robert and Raymond. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday February 19th from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
