Obituary of Dolores Leach

Leach: Dolores Margaret (Dolly) (nee Brown) 1930- 2015 Of Oro Medonte, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday March 14th, 2015. Dolores was the devoted wife to Len (2012). Mom to Greg and Deb Leach, Garry and Carol Leach, Nancy and Dale Macleod and Steven and Alice Leach. She was a loving grandmother to Greg Leach and fiancé Michele, Michael Leach, Susie Cobitar, Eric and Nicole MacLeod and Logan and Vanessa Leach. Dolly was a loving sister to Joy and husband Stuart Keeley; and sister-in law to Jack and Elsie Hare (2002), Lionel (2000) and Ann (2007) Leach, Gloria and Les Osborne, Sandra and Rick Cuthbertson, Lillian and Ken McConnell, and Patricia (1953). She was the daughter of Sylvia Norris, Harry and Mildred Brown-predeceased. Dolly's life revolved around her husband and family. She enjoyed time in their winter home in Florida and hosting a number of New Year's Eve parties for the neighbourhood. Dolly loved animals, and stray cats always found their way to her home. Dolly will be remembered for her great sense of humour, laugh and determined spirit. Dolly will be sadly missed especially by Brian and Muriel Leach who were so supportive of both Len and Dolly as their health began to fail. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Daniels for his sensitive and kind care of their mother. Arrangements entrusted to the Simcoe Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Interment Knox Presbyterian Cemetery Oro-Medonte. A private celebration of Dolly's life will be held at a later date.
