Obituary of Lorne Scott

Scott, Lorne Gerrard Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Friday April 17th, 2015 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Doreen Scott (nee Jackson) and the late Frances Scott (nee Hewitt). Loved father of Robert (Eva) of Washago. Grandfather of Carrie, Samantha, Kodi, and Jessica. Great grandfather of Peyton and Annorah. Stepfather to Diane Widdicks of Markham, Patricia Nicolson of Oakville, Suzanne Maxwell (Gord) of Kitchener and Robert Steadman (Christine) of Stittsville. Dear Papa and great Papa of many grandchildren. Brother of Marie, Percy, Russell, Raymond, Vera and Velma all pre-deceased. Visitation will be held at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia, on Monday April 20th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday April 21st, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Atherley Cemetery.
