Jean and Noel were true pioneers with the use of Muskoka cottages as year round retreats in the late 60s. Not to mention their Hidden Valley chalet and ski trips. Family was always the center of their lives and commitment, as it should be, and we can all learn something from their legacy. As a teenager I wasn't always on Jean's honor roll but she gave me honest and sound "advice" which I will always remember. I had the opportunity to bring my mother up to Orillia a few years ago so that they could have a visit which my Mom still cherishes. My condolences to the family.

We were so sad to hear of Jean's passing. She was a Great Lady. Our lives are better for having known Jean & Noel. Also our condolences for the greater 'Partridge' family on this passing of your Matriarch. To my dear cousins and families: I wish I could be there to celebrate the life of your wonderful Mom / Nana with you. I have so many fond memories of my dear, kind and lovely Aunt Jean. I was in a brain based learning lecture at Vancouver Community College a few years ago, when the speaker referenced the book that Aunt Jean and Betty Flint wrote about the orphans who's lives they followed. There is a book of the birds of Maui in our Hawaiian home from Aunt Jean the we look at every time we are there. Her love of nature, astronomy, and family are just a few of the memories she has left with us. Wishing you peace and comfort during these difficult days. Much love always Patti, Wayne and family
