Thompson: Flora Veronica At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 19th, 2015 in her 85th year. Born October 26th, 1930 in Bridgetown Nova Scotia. Flora Thompson (nee Devillez) beloved wife of the late Edward (Jim) Thompson (2015) and the late Robert (Bob) Thompson (1990) and the late Elery Hannam (1959). Loving mother of Michael Hannam (Rosemary), Martha (Michael Maciuk), Monica (Ellery Ball) and Sara Ripley (Mark Hayden). Loving grandmother of Katherine (Katie), Courtney, Kerry, Morgan, Mason, Marshall, Zach, Julia, Jacqueline, Jeremey and Daniel. Loving great grandmother of Avery, Landon, Everett (predeceased), Stella, Xavier, Anna, Hunter, Silver, Jackson and Amelia. Dear sister of Caroleen Faulkenham and the late Edmund (Gus) Devillez and the late Seraphine Statham. Flora was a former longtime employee of HRC where she was known fondly by staff and residents as "Tommy" Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday July 22nd from 12 noon until times of funeral services at 2 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
