Obituary of Murray Ferguson

Ferguson: Murray Gordon (long-time employee of Brinkley Apples) Peacefully, at the Leacock Care Centre in Orillia on Friday, February 18, 2011 in his 70th year. Murray Ferguson of Orillia, formerly of Thornbury. Beloved husband of Bernice Ferguson. Much loved father of Barry "Bear" and his wife Jana of Lafayette, Louisiana, Daniel and his partner Jeff Coleman of Wasaga Beach and Gary and his wife Donna of Stayner. Loved step-father of Donna and her husband Paul Webb of Orillia, John McNeil and his partner Vera of Pembroke, Margaret and her husband Bruce Wood-Kimmerly of Anton Mills, Wanda Juhl of Orillia and the late Tina McNeil. Dear brother of Doreen Brown and her partner Dave of Everett, Joyce Morgan of Collingwood, Donna and her husband Walter White of Collingwood, Howard and his wife Leslie of Collingwood and Ruby and her husband Herb Klinck of Collingwood. Loving grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his faithful companion "Dek". Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday, February 24th from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society of NE Simcoe County or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
