At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Sylvia Taylor of Orillia. Much loved father of Susan (Kevin) McKerrow of Ottawa, Brian of Barrie, Daniel of Toronto and Andrea Taylor (Tom Heliotis) of Mississauga. Loving grandfather of Zachary, Emily and Madeline. Dear brother of Annie Taylor of Midland, Rob (Cory) of Wasaga Beach, Shelagh (Doug) Bell of Hawkstone, Mary Lynn (Bob) Warren of Bridgewater, N.S., Terry of Kingston and the late Rick. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date. John was a lifelong musician and gifted entertainer. He quickly endeared himself to those he met and he will greatly missed. "Like a bird on a wire, I have tried in my own way to be free."
