Obituary of Marie Macmillan

Macmillan: Marie Peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre Wednesday June 1, 2011 in her 83rd year. Marie Macmillan Williams much loved and missed by her husband Norman Williams of Orillia. Wonderful mother of Sandra Shepherd and husband Richard, loving grandmother of Christopher and Lisa, Matthew and Jenn and great-grandmother of Kennedy Shepherd. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Macmillan and daughter Patricia. Sadly missed by Sister Jeannie Heron and family of Scotland, Sister-in-law Greta Smith and Bob of Glasgow, and various nieces and nephews in Scotland, England and U.S.AMarie will be lovingly remembered by Heide Muenz-Till who was like a daughter and long time freind Hazel Clare. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of the life of Marie with be held on Thursday June 9 at 11a.m. at Heritage United Church in Washago. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society of NE Simcoe County or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and will be received by the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E.
