Obituary of George Cooke

Cooke: George Peacefully a the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday June 28th, 2011 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Jane Cooke (nee Beebe). Much loved father of Gordon Cooke and his wife Carol Cooke of Orillia. Loving grandfather of Chad Cooke of Orillia; and Leanne Knee and her husband Dustin Knee of Orillia. Beloved great grandfather of David Cooke, Katie Cooke, Brayden Ostertag and Madison Knee. Dear brother of Pat Krzewski and her husband Dom of Windsor, Harry Cooke and his wife Marie of Erin and Sharon Page and her husband Jim of Honey Harbour. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday June 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to Celebrate George's life will be held in the chapel on Thursday June 30th, at 1 p.m. Interment St. Andrew St. James Cemetery Orillia.
