Obituary of John Carnes

Carnes: John Joseph (Jack) At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday September 1st, 2011 in his 70th year. Jack Carnes of Orillia. Beloved husband of Arlene Carnes (nee Brown) of Orillia. Much loved father of Allan and his wife Cathy of Orillia and Annette Southorn and her partner James Simpson of Orillia. Loving grandfather of Shanna (Danny Souter) , Andrea and Gregory Carnes and Christopher Duggan, Tanya (Brent) and Adam Southorn and great-grandfather of Marina Rose Peden and Chase and Brody Souter. Dear brother of Wayne and his wife Barbara of Hamilton, Sharon and her husband Wayne Schruder of Hales Station and the late Kathleen Benz, Mary Moss and Ken Carnes. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E, Orillia on Saturday, September 3rd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on in the Chapel on Sunday, September 4th at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
