Obituary of Kenneth Ross Black

Black: Kenneth Ross Peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday January 13th, 2016 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Diane Black. Cherished father of Lynn Rowe (Michael), Rick Black (Glenda) and Colleen Keech (Dave Gould). Loved grandfather of eight grand children and three great grand children. Dear brother of Glen Ferguson (Sharon), Louise Davis (Red), Jim Ferguson (Gail), Ann Day (Les) and Arlene Jones (Ronnie). Special thanks to Dr. Sochaniwskyj and the staff on Soldiers Two at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their care and support. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday January 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday January 19th from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Services under the auspices of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 619 Warminster will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Funeral services to follow. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery Orillia. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Palliative Care.
