Happy birthday in heaven Dad! Your grandchildren are growing up so fast down here. Lukas and Sia got engaged this past year. I will always remember that spark in your eyes when you met Sia at Kristine's wedding. You took one look at Sia, then proudly turned to Lukas and announced " Wow, Luke, She is a keeper, for sure. Nice to meet you, Sia, such a pretty girl." I miss your awesome smiles, your whole hearted laughs, and that charming Irish sparkle in your eyes!! Time is passing so quickly Dad. It is hard to believe its been eight years, on this Earth without you, here. Thank you for all the great memories Dad. Mom is still living on the farm, and we are all so proud of her and of you for following your dream, and getting that farm, that you always wanted. It sure was fun visiting there. You and Mom worked so hard and taught us so many great lessons about life, and about the importance of a strong work ethic, which has made all of our lives, so much better. Thank you, Dad. You will never be forgotten; you will stay with us all in our hearts, minds, and souls, always. Thank you for everything, Dad. Another year has passed. Another year of cherishing the memories of our beloved father, "Poppa on the Farm". You sure were one of a kind and gave us so many fun-filled memories. Moreover, the memories of your tenacity, strength and strong spirit of overcoming trials and challenges have impacted our lives greatly and still do!! Well Dad, Happy June 11th birthday in heaven. We are all saddened and shocked by George's passing this past month but, now you have both a son and a daughter up there with you. Time sure flies, Dad. Like you always said, " When the good Lord calls ya up yonder, there ain't nothin' you can do." I will never forget the first time you taught that to me, it was a good lesson, and a wonderful way to learn about life and death; after all, they are in God's hands. Dad, we all still miss you, laugh at the fun memories, cherish the strong & wise Irish heritage you left us and love you, more than ever. Well Dad, another year, this is Saturday, and you passed on the last Saturday of January,so THINKING of you today, dear Poppa on the farm. You will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you for all the lessons, and the legacy, of which we are very proud. Every time I look at my Siamese, Zeno, I think of the way you lit up, when I showed you his picture, the day you died. You always understood how much I loved animals and our wholesome country life, brought many a pet my way. Remember Mabel, the cow, she was my pet and I loved her. The best adventures/trips you ever took me on, were the ones to visit her, at her boarding farmer's barn/field. I still have this wild cat, and my dear sweet Bella. You would have loved them, too. Today I received the news that the man I thought to be invincible had passed away. I have nothing but fond memories with him and the delight with which he greeted me every time I saw him made me feel incredibly special and forever will. I never once saw him mad through all of the work and the hardships he endured, and this was a true testament to his loving and industrious nature. I think I speak for all of my cousins when I say that I couldn't have had a better grandfather and I am ecstatic that I will forever have nothing but positive sentiments when I look back upon his legacy.
Rest in the most tranquil of peace Poppa; you deserve nothing but the best.
