Obituary of Robert McCarthy

McCarthy: Robert Gerrard Suddenly at his residence in Gravenhurst on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 in his 36th year. Robert McCarthy of Gravenhurst, beloved husband of Samantha McCarthy (nee Wood). Much loved father of Douglas and Katlyn, both at home. Loved son of Donald McCarthy of Dalrymple and Mary Alma Black of Oakville. Dear brother of Tammy and her husband Ken Elshaw of Oro-Medonte, Kevin McCarthy and his partner Cora Stamper of Dalrymple and April and her husband Justin Wood of Orillia. Remembered by niece and nephews Devon, Jacob and Victoria. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home-38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday, October 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 2172 Concession Road 4, Brechin on Friday, October 28th at 11 a.m. Interment St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Reception to follow at Carden Community Centre, Lake Dalrymple Road, Dalrymple. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Addiction Research Foundation would be appreciated.
