Howard, Evelyn Adelaide Passed away peacefully at the Trillium Manor, Orillia on Monday February 22nd, 2016 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Charles Howard. Loving mother of Bonnie Byers (Mike), Willa Rautiainen (Victor), Randy Howard (Annette), and Jill Bast (Gerry). Cherished grandmother of Sara Warner ( John), Mike Byers (Renee), Kim Byers (Leonardo Vega), Favian Kleine (Ben), James Howard (Kristine), Virginia Jacob (Nigel), Tanya Rautiainen, Shelly McMillan, Tracy McMillan, Shandelle Howard (James McAlister), David Rautiainen (Allison), Tanya vanVoorst (Neil), Jody Bast (Marty Minisofer), and Luke Bast (Amy). Great grandmother of 33 grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen Pollard, Don Lane (Mary), Stewart Lane (Marion), Wes Lane (late Joan), Roy Lane (late Joan), Eric Lane (Anne), Ross Lane (Donna). Evelyn is predeceased by her siblings Verna Williams, Ethel Franklin, Gladys Maffy, Margaret Rose Lane, Florence Lane, Stan Lane, Bill Lane; and by her parents George and Vivian Lane. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held at the Trillium Manor, 12 Grace Ave. Orillia on Thursday February 25th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Trillium Palliative Care or to the Canadian Care Society through Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E.
