Whittaker: John Ernest (Jack) Retired O.P.P. Officer - Orillia Detachment At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday March 4th, 2016 in his 79th year. Jack Whittaker of Orillia beloved husband of Nancy Whittaker (nee Young) of 56 years. Much loved father of Scott and his wife Karen of Severn Bridge, Don and his wife Thea of Oakville, and Tom and his wife Mary of Barrie. Proud grandfather of Faith Visentin (Dave) of Washago, Russell (Jessie) of Severn Bridge, Angela Lacharity (Gord) of Orillia, Calvin (Emma) of Orillia, Emily of Toronto, and Graham of Barrie. Loving Great grandfather of Ryker and Sawyer Whittaker, Everett and Gabriel Visentin, and Cameron Whittaker. Dear brother of Donald Whittaker and his wife Dorothy of Port Elgin. Jack will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many good friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday March 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. David’s Anglican Lutheran Church, 133 James Street E.
