Obituary of Edward James Looney

Looney, Edward James Passed away peacefully at his home in Oro Medonte on Sunday March 20th, 2016 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Patricia Looney (nee Plue) for 41 years. loving father of Jennifer Shelswell (Tim), Janice Desroches (Dan), and Lyndsey Pritchard (Hiro). Proud Grandfather of Rachel, Ruby, Evan, Dylan, and Emi. Ed is predeceased by his parents Mary and Jim Looney. Dear brother of Jennifer (John), Charlie (Rhonda); brother inlaw of Cheryl (Rocky), Bob (Catherine), and Barb (Steve). Ed will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday March 24th, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tributes will be held at 6:00 p.m. Casual dress, bring your hot rod, and come share your memories of Ed.
