Obituary of Walter Norman Schandlen

Schandlen: Walter Norman Peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday April 11th 2016 in his 85th year. Walter Schandlen of Severn, beloved husband of Marie Schandlen (nee Woodrow) of 56 years. Loved father of Roger (Jennifer) of Bracebridge and Steve (Lynn) of Marchmont. Loving grandfather of Jacob, Adam, Lauren, Carley and Alexander. Dear brother of Ralph Schandlen (Betty), Mildred Hardiman-predeceased, and Jean (John Rumble). Visitation will be held on Thursday April 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia. Funeral Services will be held at the Willis Presbyterian Church Jarratt on Friday April 15th at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian Tire Jump Start Program or the Christian Children’s Fund.
