Obituary of William Murray Silk

Silk, William “Murray” At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday May 30th, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Irene Silk (nee Dunlop). Much loved father of David (Mary) and the late Douglas (Norma). Loving grandfather of Aaron (Jennie) Silk, Andrew Silk, Michelle Williams, and Jennifer (Shay) Robinson. Great grandfather of Chantrey and Chloe Williams, Shayla Robinson and Ella Silk. Beloved son of the late William and Verna Silk. Dear brother of Lottie (Ray) Burke (both predeceased), George (Marilyn), Aulden (Muriel-predeceased), Laurie (Valerie), Wilfred (Helen), Donna Balkwell (Bob). Murray is also remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Murray’s family wish to thank the Reverend Linda Patten-Cowie for her many visitations, kindness and prayers with Dad. As per Murray’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No funeral services will be held. Memorial donations to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or Charity of your choice would be appreciated and will be received by Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E.
