Obituary of Minerva Catherine Payne

Payne, Minerva “Catherine” (nee Silk) Suddenly but peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Catherine has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday June 12th, 2016 in her 85th year. Loving mother of Sharon Brooks (Ron), Doug, Brian (Lil), and Bill. Cherished grandmother of Steven Payne, Chad LeBreton, Kevin Brooks, Ruth-Ann, Diana (nee Payne), and David Payne; 5 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Wreatha Gammon. Predeceased by her brothers Ken, Art, Lorne, and Harold Catherine will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 from 12 noon until time of funeral Services in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery, Orillia. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
