Dave was a fun guy to hang around with always joking and usually took the lead. I played darts and baseball with Dave and had a ton of fun with him over the years and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Dave would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was a very caring person and will be sadly missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I played hockey & slow pitch against Dave. He always had a great big smile on his face whether he was winning or losing. Our favourite goalie of all-time was EDDIE THE EAGLE. Dave you will be missed by all.

Memories of younger days... David was always happy and to me he was the dog whisper. Tonto and Ranger would always defend him whomever lap they were sitting on at the time. On the road with him for hockey games to cheer on the Gravenhurst Indians, got me hooked on game of scrabble. ... there would be a page filled with good things to say about him. Am sadden to hear we lost a bright light in everyone lives.
