Obituary of Adele Maria Speckbauer

Adele (Adi) Speckbauer May 13 1929 – December 24, 2016 Passed away, peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family at Hospice Simcoe. Survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Erwin, and daughters Renae, Kim (Mike) and Cindy (Frank). She was an extraordinary Omi to Ryan (Denise), Chris (Maggie), Caitlin, Kyle, Amber and to Aaron, a loving GG to Olive and Maisie, a generous friend to so many. Adi was a talented hairdresser, an exceptional cook, and an enthusiastic matchmaker who loved to play cards, but mostly loved people. Her positive attitude and love of life will continue to inspire all who have known her. She will forever be remembered for her beauty, both inside and out. Thank you to all the incredibly supportive family and friends and also to Dr. Perrigo, Linsey, CCAC nurses/PSW, and especially to all the earth angels (staff and volunteers) at Hospice. Her wishes were, that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Hospice Simcoe. A celebration of life will be held at the Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club, 1151 Hurlwood Lane Orillia on Sunday February 12th, 2017 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
