Obituary of Warner Chalmers

Chalmers, Warner Co owner of Warner’s Collision Center along with his son (Formerly Chalmers Bros. Auto Body) Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia on Thursday December 29th, 2016 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Eileen Chalmers (nee Heaver) for 59 years. Loving father of Lorraine (Ted Lenssen), Valerie Chalmers, Barbara (Eric Clark), and Warner (Wendy McDonald). Proud grandfather of Cameron and Tessa Lenssen, and William and Olivia Chalmers. Dear brother of Shona Reeves, John (Margaret), Tom (Ruby), Marion Henderson and brother in law of Sally Pearson; predeceased by his siblings Isabel Shelton, Jim, Nancy Knight, Ron, and Margaret Campbell. Warner will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends; both in Canada and in England. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the staff of Spencer House for their excellent care of Warner and their support of the family. A Celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 34, 215 Mississaga St E. Orillia on Saturday January 14th, 2016 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
