Big Fred...
Full of life and humour. You always knew when Don came in a room. He refused to be unnoticed. Never to be forgotten.
My heavy heart goes out to Betty, Jason, Andrea and family.
It is the little things that you remember at a time like this.
Back in elementary school Fred and Betty would deal with my car sickness home from Straggle Lake by laying me down across their laps in the front of the car for 2 hours. Air conditioning blasting on high. Fred telling the dogs to settle down as I eagerly awaited the front door to open at Drakefield. Fred pouring me a carefully measured drink to celebrate that it was Wednesday, or some other reasonable excuse. He would tell me to slow down because I was constantly talking too fast; mimicking my mouth with his cupped hand moving as fast as he could.
I would give lot to be be the mimicked and poked fun of by Don Tricker today.
Both Marilyn and Don are family. Time apart doesn't change family.
You are missed Big Fred,

We remember "The Donald" from way back to when he managed Woolworth's in Markham in the 60's. He had such a big heart, was good-natured and always full of fun. He will be missed. Our love and sincere sympathy to Queenie and their family.
