Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Marilyn (nee Beynon) for 57 years. Dear father of Andrea (Cindy Hopkins) of Spokane, WA and Jason Tricker (Carrie Rumble) of Barrie. Proud grandfather of Carson. Lovingly remembered by Marilyn’s sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Bob Latham, and their family Matthew Latham, and Michelle Latham. After residing in Markham for 34 years in 2000 Don and Marilyn retired to Bayshore Village, then in 2011, moved to Orillia. Don was a very active student of Taoist Tai Chi in both Markham and Orillia. Cremation has taken place. At Don’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital would be appreciated through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia ON.
