Silvio Bertrand (Tibee) of Orillia, formerly of South Pocupine beloved husband of Nancy Bertrand (nee Miller). Dear father of Chris Bertrand (Gina) of Brighton Colorado and Lyster (Todd LaPenna) of Denver Colorado. Dear grandfather of Drew, Lauren and Noah Bertrand; Cybil, Chloe and Rory LaPenna. Remembered by Joan Bertrand (nee Elliot) of Kirkland Lake. Loving son of Yvonne and the late Edward Bertrand of South Porcupine. Dear brother of Cecile Lefebvre of Timmins, Lucien (Anny) of South Porcupine, Carlene (John Ruddell) of Guelph, Gerard (Pirkko) of Porcupine, Maurice (Michelle) of Timmins. Marianne (John Jones) of South Porcupine, Linda (Greg Krankovich) of Timmins and the late Raymond and Norman. Son-in law of Dorothy Mantyla of Orillia. Brother-in law of Beverly Keeshig-Soonias (Rod) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Silvio will be missed by his Sheltie "Tala". A Celebration of Silvio's life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Thursday November 22nd at 11 a.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow. Memorial donations to the Porcupine Miners' Memorial, Oncology Unit of Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Diabetes Assocation would be appreciated by the family.
