My condolences to the entire Shakell family. I got to know Daisy over the years starting when Shakell Plumbing and Heating was on Matchedash Street. I knew Alf and Daisy as hard working entrepreneurs.
I had no idea that Daisy started working as a riveter at age 15 during the last war and then went on to work Porcelain and Metal. She was a "force", there was no question of that. I valued her as a supporter.
I am sure she left a lot of fond memories with her family. Treasure them as you remember her.
